Video ads for moving companies that win trust before the estimate
We make motion graphics video ads for residential and commercial movers: local moves, long distance and interstate moves, office relocations, packing and storage. Script, animation and music in vertical format for Meta and TikTok, no truck or crew footage needed. Pay online, tell us your offer and get your videos in 24 business hours. Start with 3 ads for $97.
The real problem: they're handing you everything they own
Nobody hiring a mover is just buying a truck ride. They're trusting strangers with their furniture, their paperwork and the boxes they can't replace. And they've heard the horror stories: the price that jumps on delivery day, the truck that never shows.
That's why a moving ad competes with fear first and price second. The company that wins is the one that answers the big questions before the phone rings: who you are, how you quote, what happens if something breaks and where you operate. Motion graphics lays that out with clean icons and on screen text, no footage of a real move needed.
Match the ad to the move
- Local moves: your service area, how you charge (hourly, per truck or flat rate) and a clear button to get a quote.
- Long distance and interstate: the whole process from survey to delivery, with delivery windows you can actually hit.
- Office and commercial: after hours or weekend moves so the business doesn't lose a day, with inventory and box labeling shown step by step.
- Packing: what materials you use and what your crew handles.
- Storage: for people closing on one place before they can get into the next, with what the unit includes.
- Peak season: summer and the end of each month book up fast, so run a video that pushes people to lock in a date early.
Moves usually follow a home sale or a new lease, so take a look at our page on video ads for real estate. If you also offer cleaning, junk removal or furniture assembly, see video ads for home service businesses.
Practical tips for moving company ads
Explain how you quote. If you do an in-home or video survey before giving a price, lead with it. That's exactly what a nervous customer wants to hear. Whether you give a binding estimate or a non-binding one, the video says so in plain English instead of burying it in the fine print.
Show who's showing up. Your own marked trucks, uniformed crews, a real office or warehouse address. Only what's true, but in the first few seconds.
Talk about what happens if something breaks. Spelling out your coverage, rather than a vague "everything's insured," sets you apart fast.
Book ahead of the rush. In spring, push people to reserve their summer date.
Ad rules for movers: USDOT numbers, estimates and valuation
Your USDOT number goes in the ad. FMCSA rules require interstate household goods movers to run only truthful, straightforward and honest ads and to include, in every ad, their name as it appears on their USDOT registration plus their USDOT number, shown as "U.S. DOT No." followed by the number (49 CFR 375.207). If you're a broker and don't haul the goods yourself, 49 CFR 371.107 also asks you to display your MC number and physical address and to state that you're a broker. Send us your exact details.
Binding vs. non-binding estimates. FMCSA's booklet "Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move" says a binding estimate guarantees the customer won't pay more than the quoted amount, and on a non-binding estimate the mover can't require more than 110 percent of the estimate at delivery. It also says the estimate must be based on a physical survey, done on site or virtually, unless the customer waives it in writing, and that movers must give customers that booklet before the move.
Full Value Protection vs. Released Value. For interstate moves, FMCSA explains that Full Value Protection is the default and covers replacement value, while Released Value costs nothing but caps the mover's liability at 60 cents per pound per article. If your ad mentions coverage, say which one.
Moves within one state follow that state's rules, so check with your state agency. Meta's Advertising Standards also reject deceptive ads. Our guide to Facebook video ads covers the basics.
Formats and language
Every video is 9:16 for Reels, Stories and TikTok, delivered as an MP4 ready for Ads Manager. Each video can be in English or Spanish. On the trial you can add 1:1 and 4:5 versions for $19, a revision round for $29 per video and 3 static ads for $47.
What we need from you
A short brief at checkout: the service for each video (local, long distance, office, packing or storage), the cities or routes you cover, how you quote, the type of estimate you give, the coverage you offer, your offer word for word, your USDOT and MC numbers if they apply, your phone number or link, colors and logo. Add a reference ad you like. We don't need access to your ad account and there are no calls. Ready? Start with the 3 video trial.

FAQ
How much do video ads for a moving company cost?
You can try 3 ads for a one-time $97, once per business. For fresh videos every month, plans go from $297 for 10 videos and $497 for 20 to $797 for 40 (white label included), and the Agency plan is 100 videos for $1,797.
Do I need to film my trucks or my crew?
No. These are motion graphics: animation, text, icons and music. We can use your logo and fleet colors.
Can you include my USDOT number and explain my coverage?
Yes, exactly as you send it in writing. We don't add numbers, coverage or guarantees on our own, and checking what federal and state rules require is on you.
Do these work for commercial and office moves?
Yes. We write a separate angle for businesses, focused on keeping downtime to a minimum, apart from the videos aimed at families.
Do you run the campaign or guarantee booked moves?
No. We deliver ready to upload videos and we don't promise a number of calls or jobs. You or your agency run the campaign.
How fast do I get the videos?
Within 24 business hours of payment. If we're late, you get a free extra video, and if a video doesn't match the brief, we redo it.
