Rules worth knowing before you run ads

Before and afters. Meta restricts before and after images in health, aesthetic and cosmetic procedure ads, and TikTok limits them too. We'd rather show the process and the benefit through animation.

Personal attributes. "Are your teeth yellow?" or "Hate your wrinkles?" goes against Meta's policy. These work better: "Coffee stains enamel over time" or "For anyone who wants a brighter smile."

Results claims. Skip "guaranteed results" or "completely painless" unless you can stand behind it. Every patient is different and the platforms know it.

Prescription treatments. If you advertise treatments that involve prescription drugs, like neurotoxin injections at a med spa, Meta may require prior authorization and the rules vary by country. Check this before you launch.

Privacy. We never use patient data or photos. If you have real reviews that patients agreed to share, put them in the brief and we'll animate them.
