The real problem: nobody looks for a lawyer until they need one

Nobody follows a law firm for fun. People start thinking about a lawyer after something has already happened: a car wreck, a letter from immigration, a divorce, an estate with no plan or a business partner who stopped holding up their end. By then they're stressed, in a hurry and full of questions. What does it cost? Is the consultation free? Does anyone there speak my language? Will I just be a case number?

That's why the standard law firm ad, with scales of justice, a gavel and "decades of experience", doesn't land. Every firm looks the same. What actually stops the scroll is a video that teaches something useful fast: what to keep after an accident, how two visa paths differ or what happens at the first meeting.

Motion graphics gives you a separate ad for every practice area and every common question, without filming yourself or featuring clients.

Law firm video ads that make sense

One topic per video beats an ad that lists every practice area.

Spanish-language ads for Hispanic clients

Plenty of US firms serve clients who would rather talk about their case in Spanish, especially in personal injury, immigration and family law. An ad written in Spanish from the start, not run through a translator, feels more personal and makes it obvious in the first second that someone at your office speaks their language.

You pick the language for each video in the brief. You can order the same concept in English and Spanish and test both audiences separately in Ads Manager. Just only say "hablamos español" if someone on your team really does handle calls and meetings in Spanish.

Meta, TikTok and state bar rules

Don't call out the viewer's situation. Meta's ad policies prohibit asserting or implying personal attributes about the viewer, including criminal record, health, vulnerable financial status and ethnicity. "Got a record?" or "Drowning in debt?" can get rejected. Safer framing: "Know your rights during an arrest" or "Legal options when debt piles up." Treat immigration the same way: explain the process and never assume anyone's status.

Lead forms. Meta restricts lead form questions that ask for sensitive information like criminal history or health details. Keep the form short and save the case details for the consultation.

TikTok is stricter on legal. As of this writing, its ad policy doesn't allow ads for family law, immigration law, employment law or personal injury lawsuits in the US and Canada, and in several Latin American markets it also blocks criminal law. Other legal services can run, as long as the ad is restricted to adults 18 and up and meets their requirements. For those practice areas, Meta is usually the main channel. See our guides to Meta video ad creatives and TikTok video ads.

Attorney advertising rules. Every state bar has its own rules. Some require an "attorney advertising" label, nearly all bar guaranteeing outcomes, and testimonials or past results come with restrictions that vary by state. Your firm is responsible for its bar compliance. We write what you give us, with the disclaimers exactly as you send them, and we never add claims of our own.

Formats, language and pricing

Every video is 9:16 for Reels, Stories and TikTok, delivered as an MP4 ready for Ads Manager. On the trial you can add 1:1 and 4:5 versions for $19, a revision round for $29 per video and 3 static ads for $47. Exact dimensions are in our video ad specs guide.

What we need from you

A short brief at checkout: the practice area for each video, your offer word for word (for example, whether the first consultation is free), the states where you're licensed, the languages you work in, a link to your website or Instagram, your colors and logo. Include any disclaimers your state bar requires, written exactly as they need to appear. Add a reference ad you like. We never use client names or case details, we don't need access to your ad account and there are no calls.

FAQ

How much do video ads for a law firm cost?

You can try 3 ads for a one-time $97, once per business. For fresh videos every month, plans go from $297 for 10 videos to $797 for 40, and the Agency plan is 100 videos for $1,797.

Can you add an attorney advertising label and other disclaimers?

Yes. Write them in the brief exactly as your state bar requires and we put them on screen. Making sure the ad meets those rules is up to your firm.

Can you make Spanish-language ads for Hispanic clients?

Yes. You choose English or Spanish for each video in the brief, and you can order the same concept in both languages.

Do you use client testimonials or past case results?

We never make them up. If you want to use your own, send it in writing and confirm your state allows it. By default we make educational ads about the process.

Do you run the campaign or guarantee new clients?

No. We deliver ready to upload videos and we don't promise a number of cases or consultations. You or your agency run the campaign.

How fast do I get the videos?

Within 24 business hours of payment. If we're late, you get a free extra video, and if a video doesn't match the brief, we redo it.
