Video ads for gyms and fitness studios
We make motion graphics video ads for gyms, CrossFit boxes, yoga and Pilates studios and personal trainers with their own space: script, animation, music and on-screen text, in vertical format for Meta and TikTok. Pay online, tell us what you want to fill (free trial classes, memberships or a new location) and get your videos in 24 business hours. You can start with 3 ads for $97.
Why selling a gym membership is harder than it looks
A gym sells something almost everyone wants and almost nobody starts: the habit. The person scrolling past your ad already knows they should work out. What holds them back is feeling out of shape in front of strangers, not knowing if the place is for people like them, the price, or just the effort of walking in the first time. An ad full of barbells, loud music and "Join now" doesn't answer any of that.
Your audience is also local. Only people who live or work nearby matter, and in that same radius you're up against big chains that advertise all year long. Your edge is what they can't offer: small classes, a coach who knows every member by name, the community at the box or the calm of a boutique studio. Your ad has to make that obvious.
Video ads that work for gyms and studios
- Free trial class: the most direct offer for a cold audience. The video walks through what happens in that first class, who leads it and how to book, so the fear of the unknown fades.
- Your first visit, step by step: you show up, a coach meets you, scales the workout to your level and nobody judges.
- Seasonal pushes: New Year's resolutions in January, back to routine after summer, and the run-up to summer itself.
- Grand opening: a countdown to launch day, an animated map of the neighborhood and a founding member rate or presale.
- Community and retention: member challenges, bring-a-friend weeks or win-back ads for members who stopped showing up.

Meta and TikTok rules for fitness ads
Fitness ads have their own rules. These are the ones that hit gyms most:
- No before and after. Meta doesn't allow before and after weight loss images, or images that imply weight loss or zoom in on body parts when the ad promotes that kind of result. TikTok bans references to unrealistic weight loss or muscle gain.
- Don't make people feel bad about themselves. Meta prohibits content that tries to create negative self-perception, and TikTok bans body shaming or suggesting there's one ideal body type.
- Don't call out personal attributes. On Meta, lines like "Are you overweight?" or "Hate how you look?" assert something about the viewer and tend to get rejected. Talk about the class, the schedule or the community instead: "Train with a coach from your very first class."
- Age limits for weight loss. If the ad mentions losing weight or building muscle, TikTok requires targeting adults 18 and over, and Meta applies a similar restriction to weight loss products and services. Set that up in Ads Manager.
- No easy or guaranteed results. Skip "Drop 20 pounds in a month" or "Guaranteed results." Policies change, so always check the current version in your ads manager before you launch.
We write every script with these rules in mind. If you sell supplements at the front desk, those ads face even stricter rules, which we cover in video ads for supplement brands.
How to fill classes, not just collect likes
Say where you are right away. Naming the neighborhood or the town up front filters out people who live too far and makes your actual neighbors feel the ad is meant for them.
Sell the vibe, not the six-pack. The hardest people to win over are the ones who don't work out yet. Tell them how their first class will feel, not what their body is supposed to look like.
Refresh your ads often. In a small radius the same people see your ad over and over, and it wears out fast. We break it down in ad creative fatigue.
Formats and what we need from you
Every video is 9:16 for Reels, Stories and TikTok. On the trial you can add 1:1 and 4:5 versions for the feed for $19. You get MP4 files ready for messaging, lead form or online booking campaigns.
At checkout you tell us your gym or studio name, the classes you offer, your area, who you want to reach and the result you're after. Share your website or Instagram, pick your colors and upload your logo. Have a class schedule, pricing or photos of your space? Drop a link in the brief notes. We don't need access to your ad account and there are no calls: you or your agency set up the campaign.

FAQ
How much does a video ad for a gym cost?
You can try 3 ads for a one-time $97, once per business. For fresh videos every month, plans are Starter with 10 videos for $297, Growth with 20 for $497 and Scale with 40 for $797. Revision rounds aren't included: on the trial you can add one round per video for $29.
Do I need to film my members or coaches?
No. The ads are made with motion graphics: animation, on-screen text and music, with no one on camera. If you want photos of your space or your logo in there, drop a link in the brief notes.
Does this work for CrossFit boxes, yoga and Pilates studios?
Yes. We make ads for gyms, CrossFit boxes, yoga, Pilates, cycling and martial arts studios, and personal trainers with their own space. We recommend one offer or class type per video.
Will my ads follow Meta and TikTok fitness rules?
We write scripts that avoid what those platforms usually reject in fitness ads, like before and after shots or lines that call out the viewer's body. Final approval is up to each platform, and you set the age targeting in your ads manager.
How fast do I get the videos?
Within 24 business hours of receiving your complete brief. If we're late, you get a free extra video. If a video doesn't match the brief, we redo it at no cost.
